Samuel L. Jackson's new movie confirms release date
A release date has been confirmed for Samuel L. Jackson's new movie The Kill Room.
According to Deadline, the film, which sees Jackson team up with his Pulp Fiction co-star Uma Thurman, will receive a September 28 theatrical release.
The Kill Room follows an art dealer (Thurman) who makes an alliance with a hit-man and his boss (Jackson) for a money laundering scheme.
However, the deal sees the hitman (played by Magic Mike's Joe Manganiello) become an avant-garde sensation, pitting the art-world against the underworld as the group attempt to pull off their crime.

Larry Pine (Succession), Debi Mazar (Goodfellas), Candy Buckley (Bachelorette) and Amy Keum (Honor Society) will also feature, with Nicol Paone (Friendsgiving) directing
Dree Hemingway (The Unicorn), Jennifer Kim (Mozart in the Jungle), Matthew Maher (Air), Tom Pecinka (The Survivalist) and Alexander Sokovikov (For All Mankind) round off the cast. Thurman's daughter Maya Hawke (Stranger Things, Asteroid City) will also appear in the film.
Speaking to Deadline about the project, Paone revealed that it had been amazing to work with Jackson, Thurman and co. "Working with Uma, Sam, Joe, and the rest of this incredible cast was nothing short of amazing," she said.
"I thank each and every member of the cast and our incredible crew for their inspired work and continued support of The Kill Room."

Meanwhile, Jackson recently reprised his role as Nick Fury for new Disney+ series Secret Invasion alongside Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman.

The Kill Room will premiere in cinemas on September 28.
