Yahoo Movies Scarlett Johansson confirms role in "incredible" Jurassic World 4
Scarlett Johansson has officially joined the cast of Jurassic World 4.
It was reported earlier this year that the Marvel actor was in talks to star in the franchise’s next instalment, though Johansson herself has now officially confirmed her involvement.
"The script is so incredible," she told ComicBook after confirming her casting. "David Koepp wrote it. He returned after like 30 years to write the script.
"He's so passionate about it, which is so awesome."

"I'm an enormous Jurassic Park fan. It's one of the first films I remember seeing in the theater. I remember seeing it so vividly," Johansson added.
"It was like, life-changing. It was mind-blowing. I cannot express how excited I am."
Johansson is set to star in the Gareth Edwards-directed film, which is expected to arrive cinemas in July of next year.
Its cast also includes Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey, Obi-Wan Kenobi's Rupert Friend, The Lincoln Lawyer's Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Oscar winner Mahershala Ali.
While the first three Jurassic World films starred Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, the actor has not yet been confirmed for the fourth movie.

Addressing the possibility of his return last month, Pratt said: "Hey, never say never. Maybe. Maybe I return. Maybe I don't. You'll just have to tune in to find out. I know I'll be first in line, whether I'm in it or not."
Meanwhile, Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell recently revealed that he turned down the opportunity to appear in the film.
"Jurassic [Park] is one of my favourite movies. It's one of the things I've wanted to do my whole life," he said.
"I'm not doing that movie because I read the script and I immediately was like, my presence in this movie doesn't help it.
"And the script's great. The movie's going to f**king kill. It's not about that. It's about choosing where you're going to make an audience happy and where you're going to make yourself happy."
Jurassic World 4 is released in cinemas on July 2, 2025.
