Sebastian Stan invites you to check out his abs.
The actor has put in some serious work — both for Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (he, of course, is Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier) as well as 355 — and he’s taking a minute to celebrate it.
He wrote on social media that after seven years of working out with fitness trainer Don Saladino, he was in the gym and actually liked what he saw — a reminder that body insecurities aren’t limited to a specific gender.
“Been working with this guy through years of self-judgment and mental wars when it comes to fitness and LIFE, and TODAY I’m giving myself a break and acknowledging the hard work we’ve done for @355movie (and this other small thing we got comin’)” he wrote with a wink emoji, referring to the Marvel series that will stream on the upcoming Disney+.
“Proud of what we’ve accomplished pal! Love you. And thank you.”
He wasn’t the only one who liked what he saw and shared it. There are tons of positive reactions celebrating the Gossip Girl alum’s abs. One was from his Endings, Beginnings co-star Shailene Woodley who wrote: “Dammmmmmmmn homie.”
We’re waiting for Avengers: Infinity War co-star Chris Pratt to weigh in — as he infamously went a similar route several years ago amid his body transformation for another Marvel project, Guardians of the Galaxy.
355 is in production and will see Stan with an impressive female-infused cast including Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong'o and Penélope Cruz. It’s a spy flick in the style of The Bourne Identity.
The The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be the first Marvel series coming to Disney+ streaming after it launches and will see Stan opposite Anthony Mackie’s Falcon.
It’s expected Autumn 2020.
