Simon Pegg: “George Lucas ruined Star Wars"
While doing the rounds for the release of ‘Tintin’, we asked one of the stars, Simon Pegg, what he thought of the recent changes George Lucas has made to the ‘Star Wars’ films.
Pegg, a life-long geek echoed the sentiments of many fans of the series.
“I haven’t bought them to be honest because I’m only interested in the first three and I don’t want to see them all ruined,” he said.

In the cult TV series ‘Spaced’ which first made stars of Pegg, Nick Frost and director Edgar Wright, Pegg essentially played a larger-than-life version of himself.
In one episode Pegg’s character Tim harasses a child in the comic book store he works in, for wanting to buy a Jar Jar Binks toy.
Pegg also said, “They kind of were already with the [1997] special editions. I’m kind of a purist as is very well known.”
“I just wish he’d leave them alone.”
