Yahoo Movies A Simple Favour 2 confirms Prime Video release and more cast returns
A Simple Favour 2 has found its home at Prime Video, with various original cast members coming back to join Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively in Paul Feig's crime sequel.
According to Deadline, Aparna Nancherla is reprising her character Sona, while Henry Golding (as Sean), Andrew Rannells (Darren), Bashir Salahuddin (Detective Summerville), Joshua Satine (Miles), Ian Ho (Nicky) and Kelly McCormack (Stacy) are all onboard too.
Brand-new faces include: Elena Sofia Ricci, Michele Morrone, Elizabeth Perkins, Alex Newell, Taylor Ortega and Lorenzo de Moor.
Released in 2018, the twisty A Simple Favour saw 'mommy blogger' Stephanie (played by Kendrick) getting deeply involved in the disappearance of her best pal Emily (Lively), while its follow-up continues the pair's story as they head to the Italian island of Capri for the latter's lavish wedding.
A description teases: "Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square".

This comes in the wake of Kendrick openly discussing her and Lively's passionate on-screen kiss in the first movie.
"I mean, all I'm ever thinking about in [kissing] scenes is, 'Who has gum? Who has a mint?'" the star told Pride Source. "And I think Blake is probably the same because I've never experienced a guy, like, searching for a mint and searching for gum. So, we were the mintiest, freshest two people to have ever kissed in the history of America."
A Simple Favour 2 will stream on Prime Video from a TBC date.
