Spider-Man: Far From Home has passed $1 billion - around £808 million - at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Spider-Man movie to reach the landmark haul.

The only other Spidey movie to come close was Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 in 2007, which made $890.9 million, with Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker.

But it's Far From Home, which sees Tom Holland's Peter Parker desperately trying to court Zendaya's MJ while simultaneously battling a mysterious force of nature, that has broken the dam.
