“We do not shoot random ones. They’re always very specific,” Feige said.
“A couple of months ago in Atlanta, he flew down and we shot four in one day – for four various projects.
“They’re all awesome! They’re all totally different. And he was unbelievable. He was on fire.
“He came in, he sat here, he stood there, he stood in this window, and then he went home.”
The next four movies will be ‘Doctor Strange’ (though he’s likely to have already filmed that, it being out in November), ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’.
It’s thought that the fourth cameo he slotted in could be for either ‘Black Panther’ or ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
The 93-year-old’s brief cameo’s in the MCU have become the stuff of legend.
In all, he’s made 28 appearances in all, the first playing a hot dog vendor in Bryan Singer’s ‘X-Men’ in 2000.
From there he’s played a postman (‘Fantastic Four’), a Larry King look-a-like (‘Iron Man’), a psychiatric patient (‘Thor: The Dark World’) and a strip club MC (‘Deadpool’, obviously).
He made his first animated cameo in 2014’s ‘Big Hero 6’.
