Suicide Squad gets brutally skewered by Honest Trailers

If you hated ‘Suicide Squad’, then you’re going to love this.

David Ayer’s messy superhero romp has been taken down in withering style by the folks over at Honest Trailers.

Picking up on the fact that it took just six weeks to write – and then went through multiple cuts – this is brutal business.

Jared Leto in making ‘the Joker totally suck’, comes in for some particularly harsh criticism, including his off-screen method acting for a role which barely figures in the final movie.

“It’s so edgy, you could cut him out of the movie, and it wouldn’t make any difference,” proclaims the snarky voiceover.

Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress takes a particular hammering too, being branded ‘just the worst’, while Killer Croc is ‘half crocodile, half racial stereotype’.

Sure, the movie ended up grossing $745 million, but still, some of this must sting. Just a bit.
