Super Bowl 2020: All the big trailers in one place
San Francisco 49ers played Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida on Sunday, 2 February.
It’s something to do with American Football we think, but the main event for film fans will be the ad breaks where, traditionally, Hollywood studios showcase new trailers for the year’s biggest new releases. This year, like last year, though the Super Bowl will see a decline in film trailers being launched during the half time break. The Hollywood Reporter says a year on year price hike from $5.2 million (£3.9 million) to $5.6 million (£4.3 million) for a 30-second ad is driving studios to swerve the half-time ad break.
Studios are instead planning to target the lower cost pre and post-game slots instead. Here are the trailers launched on Sunday.
