Halloween 2017 has already thrown up some amazing celebrity costumes, but we think Will Poulter’s is clearly the winner so far.The ‘Detroit’ star dressed up as Sid from ‘Toy Story’, sharing a picture on social media, and from the metal braces to the magnifying glass, the likeness was uncanny. Poulter said he dressed as the ‘Toy Story’ bully after receiving comparisons online, adding that he was happy to have people “laugh at my expense” as he was raising awareness for an anti-bullying campaign during bullying prevention month.Other costumes of note in our gallery include Bruce Willis who (with a pal) dressed as the menacing Grady Twins from Stanley Kubrick’s ‘The Shining’, Gwyneth Paltrow whose costume paid tribute to ‘Se7en’, and Kristen Bell’s hilarious (and unexpected) ‘Frozen’-inspired garb.Read moreInsanely detailed pumpkins for HalloweenAn oral history of David S PumpkinsWhat happened to Hollywood’s scariest kids

Whenever a film is set in space we can always expect the same old tropes. Unfortunately, most of them are scientifically nonsensical. We spoke to Dr David A Kirby, senior lecturer in science communication studies at the University of Manchester and author of ‘Lab Coats in Hollywood’, to pick through the most common space movie myths.
Since a ‘Frozen’ and ‘Finding Dory’ crossover doesn’t appear to be in pipeline, Kristen Bell and Ellen DeGeneres have taken matters into their own hands and recorded a live-action hybrid of the animated films that’s simply perfect. During Kristen Bell’s appearance on ‘The Ellen Show’ the effervescent host decided that it was the perfect opportunity for ‘Frozen’s’ Anna, who Bell voiced, to meet ‘Finding Dory’s’ titular fish, voiced by DeGeneres. After DeGeneres remarked as Dory, “Hi, I’m Dory.
‘Bad Moms,’ the raucous comedy from ‘The Hangover’ writers-turned-directorial duo Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, has become the first comedy of the year to take $100 million (£75 million) at the North American box office as of today. As The Hollywood Reporter tells us, this is the first R-rated comedy of the year to reach this milestone, outstripping the $55 million domestic gross of ‘Bad Neighbours 2’ (though this took $107 million worldwide), and the current $83 million US haul of ‘Sausage Party’ (which stands at $92 million globally). The $20 million-budgeted comedy with Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell isn’t doing bad in the UK either, currently ranked as the number 2 movie at the British box office with takings of £1.47 million (just shy of $2 million) after its first week on release.
Donald Trump has a skill of getting under the skin of even the nicest of stars, and ‘Frozen’ star Kristen Bell is no exception. When Trump tweeted an image of Presidential rival Hilary Clinton next to a Star of David last week, controversy erupted after it was claimed the image had come from a white supremacist website. In a weak attempt to defend himself, Trump claimed the star was just a star, so called out the Disney animation who innocently used a star in some of their merchandise in an attempt to deflect attention.
All we get is a copyright credit to Disney themselves, but the skill behind them looks rather professional to us - it could conceivably be a current or former Disney animator, or simply form part of the film’s very early concept designs, even though it does show identical scenes from the final movie. While we’ve not heard much from the ‘Frozen’ brand in recent months, having seen its two-year plus craze final die down, but no doubt we’ll start to hear more when the sequel begins production. ‘Frozen 2′ was about as inevitable as the sun rising, considering the first animated movie, directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, was a phenomenal global hit that amassed in excess of $1.2 billion. At present, there’s no details about where ‘Frozen 2′ will take us, only that Kristen Bell (the voice of Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad, (the loveable Olaf), and at least one of its co-directing team will return in the shape of Jennifer Lee.
An online campaign has been launched to find Elsa from ‘Frozen’ a girlfriend for the forthcoming sequel. A direct request to Disney has so far been retweeted over 1500 times.
