Tate's Bake Shop

These days, the grocery store's cookie aisle is jam-packed with yummy choices—Oreos, Fudge Stripes, Chips Ahoy—but few are as thin, crisp, and delicious as Tate’s Bake Shop cookies. Tate’s is a real bakery in Southampton, NY, that, up until six years ago, was owned and run by the woman who started it, Kathleen King. She sold to Mondelez in 2018. The bake shop still has a large variety of baked goods, but the one item on grocery store shelves just about everywhere is the now-famous thin and crispy cookies in green packaging.

Tate’s Bake Shop just released two new varieties, which sound worth heading to the store for.

Tate’s Bake Shop's New Cookie Flavors

When you’re at the store, look for these new flavors next to the Tate’s Bake Shop flavors you’re already familiar with, like Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, and Lemon.

Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip: If you’re a fan of all things salted caramel, the new Tate’s Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip is for you. If you think you’ve seen these cookies on store shelves before, you may have. They were a limited-edition flavor last year, but now Tate’s is adding them to its permanent offerings. With these cookies, you get the salty-sweet combo that’s so satisfying in a cookie with chocolate chips, caramel, and salt.

Snickerdoodle: You may be used to a chewy center in Snickerdoodles, but the cookie is also great as a crispy version. Of course, Tate’s bakes its version of the buttery, cinnamony, and sugary treats that way. This cookie will be available in the original and Tiny Tate sizes.
