The Girl On The Train: Watch an exclusive deleted scene

The adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ page-turner ‘The Girl On The Train’ was a big hit in 2016, earning £137 million at the global box office, and it’s coming to digital download next week.

The film’s star Emily Blunt won rave reviews for her performance as Rachel, the alcoholic protagonist drawn into a murder mystery when she witnesses something strange from the window of her train. She’s up for Best Actress at the 2017 BAFTAs, so we’re thrilled to be able to share a never-before-seen deleted scene featuring Emily herself, alongside Hayley Bennett (‘Magnificent Seven’), and Rebecca Ferguson (‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’).

Fans of the book will recognise the moment as it shows Rachel at her lowest ebb, paying her ex-husband Tom (played by Justin Theroux) a visit at their former home. Megan, the girl next door (Hayley Bennet), sees Rachel in the garden holding Tom’s new baby clearly worse for wear, before she hands the child back to her mother Anna (Rebecca Ferguson).

‘The Girl On The Train’ is available on Digital Download 28 January and Blu-ray and DVD 6 February.
