The Avengers 3 Easter Egg In Guardians Of The Galaxy That Everyone Missed

‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’s’ legion of fans have allegedly missed one pretty big Easter egg, according to the film’s writer/director, James Gunn.

The filmmaker made the revelation during a discussion with Comic Book, where he also teased that there were numerous other hidden nods in the blockbuster that haven’t been noticed yet too.

“Yeah, there’s definitely some thing that people haven’t seen,” Gunn explained before he then proclaimed that he doesn’t think one of them will ever be found.  “There’s definitely one really big thing that people haven’t seen, but they may never see it – we’ll see. There’s other things, too.”

Gunn then went on to declare that he even posted an image of the Infinity Stone in the temple of Morag on Instagram to celebrate the fact that fans had only just brought it up a couple of weeks back.

The ‘Super’ and ‘Slither’ filmmaker didn’t go as far as to reveal any further details about the huge spoiler that hasn’t been discovered yet though. There’s still a good chance that people will eventually find it. Because now that the digital download has become available he’s spotted that “people are noticing more things now.”

However it will have to go some way to beat the nods to Beta Ray Bill, which came at the start of the film when Star Lord picked up a horse-like skeleton, or the blatantly obvious but still hugely enjoyable cameos from Cosmo the Space Dog and Howard the Duck.

But that would all change if the unseen Easter egg actually shows Spider-Man flinging through the galaxy, thus confirming his entrance to the Marvel universe. It would also be both awesome and stupid, but it would also please a gaggle of demanding nerds in the process.
