Yahoo Movies Tom Cruise's Most Dangerous Mission: Impossible Stunts
You can imagine the conversation in a Hollywood office: “Hey Tom, fancy hanging one-handed from a massive cliff? Or how about going up and down the outside of the tallest building in the world?”
Thing is, rather than telling them where to shove it (like we would), Tom Cruise has a slightly different response when shooting the Mission: Impossible’ franchise.
“Yeah, no worries,” he says. “How about I let a lorry drive over me while we’re at it?”
One of the most impressive elements of the spy series has always been the star’s daredevil attitude about doing his own stunts.
As the video above proves, Cruise doesn’t shirk from some fairly terrifying challenges – from escaping an exploding water tank in the first movie to holding onto an airborne plane for the latest instalment, ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’.
About the latter, he told Yahoo Movies, “The adrenaline was flowing! When that thing was going down the runway it was everything to keep my feet down, then it went up and my body was slamming on the side. I was like ‘Whoa, this is intense.’”
