Tom Hardy confirms Venom 3 has resumed filming with new set photo
Venom 3 filming is up and running again.
Tom Hardy, who plays alien symbiote host Eddie Brock, revealed as much on Instagram yesterday (November 16) with a shot of him sarcastically smiling and holding a beer on set next to a stressed-out crew member.
He added a red heart emoji and "V3NM3" under the photo.

Like many Hollywood projects, shooting for the next film in the series after Venom: Let There Be Carnage was affected by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA union strikes and as a result, its release has been pushed back.
Directed by first-timer Kelly Marcel, the Sony's Spider-Man Universe blockbuster also features Juno Temple (Fargo) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (The Man Who Fell to Earth) in undisclosed roles.
Thanks to Venom's position in the multiverse – he was zapped into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: No Way Home – there's a suggestion Ejiofor may reprise his character Karl Mordo.

Speaking to Empire Magazine, No Way Home co-writer Chris McKenna previously admitted that Venom almost had a more extensive cameo.
"So Eddie Brock makes it to the MCU but he never makes it out of a bar. But there were versions where he shows up earlier. We were going to try to have him show up at the Statue of Liberty [for the final fight], and we were even toying with having him stuck in the Lincoln Tunnel," he said.
As for a future showdown between Spidey and Hardy's purple beast, McKenna told IGN Fan Fest: "That is above our pay grade. We are part of a bigger, larger universe that we are not the gods of, we're just mortals in.
"I think it was a fun idea that the sixth [member of] the Sinister Six gets stuck in a bar and doesn't get out of there, but maybe he leaves a little something behind. Again, we're not masters of that course of that next adventure."
Venom 3 is slated for release on November 8, 2024.
