The seventh Transformers blockbuster Rise of the Beasts has been given a digital release date.

Lead by Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, the movie will be available on digital in the UK via Paramount Home from Monday, August 14, it's been confirmed.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts follows Noah and Elena as they must contend with a world-threatening mechanical menace (Unicron). The movie sees the mighty Optimus Prime and his Autobots teaming up with the Maximals for the first time on the big screen.

As for the digital release's bonus content, there's an exploration of the human side of this adventure in 'Human Affairs' alongside 'Life in the 90s', which sees the filmmakers weigh in on the music, set design and cultural references that transport fans to an old-school New York.

Over in bonus content 'Heroes', there's an inside look at the inspiration behind how the Autobots and Maximals appear, while its 'Villains' counterpart watches the team bringing the Terrorcons and Predacons to vivid life.

Pete Davidson's spy character Mirage takes centre stage in 'The Chase', while 'The Battle of Ellis Island' has the museum showdown captured from behind the scenes.

'Into the Jungle' and 'The Switchback Attack' chart what it was like to shoot several key sequences in Peru, and 'The Final Conflict' focuses on Rise of the Beasts' jaw-dropping climax.

There are, of course, deleted and extended scenes to enjoy as well, including an alternate opening and ending.
