Lines like 'Apoca-who?’ and 'Anything for the team!’ will be hard to forget, but now even harder to forgive, considering that he’s appearing in new promotional material for 'Independence Day: Resurgence’. (Both films are made by 20th Century Fox).
We can now add ‘I’m fairly certain we can handle a few out-of-towners…’ to Wayne’s dazzling showreel.
The new teaser show’s Rooney and teammates Juan Mata, Ashley Young, Chris Smalling and Daley Blind in a dog fight with alien forces, and the results are… well, let’s not start booking the hotels for Oscar night just yet.
