Vince Vaughn confirms early talks with Owen Wilson about 'Wedding Crashers' sequel
Vince Vaughn has revealed that he and co-star Owen Wilson are in talks to star in a sequel to their 2005 romcom Wedding Crashers.
The 50-year-old actor has revealed the duo, along with director David Dobkin, have a “pretty good” idea of what they could do with a follow-up.

The movie earned a massive $288m (£220m) at the global box office and was credited with helping to revive the adult-orientated studio comedy market, which had stagnated in the first half of the noughties.
"Owen and I and the director of Crashers have been talking for the first time seriously [about] a sequel to that movie," Vaughn told Entertainment Tonight.

Vaughn added: "There has been an idea that is pretty good. So we are talking about that in the early stages."
Dobkin raised fans’ hopes earlier this year when he revealed that he had put together a potential script, which Vaughn and Wilson had both had chance to read.

In the movie, the two stars played divorce mediators who would attend weddings to which they were not invited in order to sleep with women.
The film also featured Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher, Christopher Walken and Bradley Cooper.
It received mostly strong reviews when it was first released, but more recent appraisals have called into question its gender politics and portrayals of non-white and LGBT+ characters.
Vaughn is currently promoting his role in Blumhouse horror-comedy Freaky, in which he plays a serial killer who inadvertently swaps bodies with a teenage victim — portrayed by Kathryn Newton.
The movie is helmed by Happy Death Day creator Christopher Landon and features the filmmaker’s trademark combination of laughs and gore.

Vaughn told ET: “The fun of this was having Kathryn to kind of build each character out with.
“She came with such good ideas, we had a rehearsal period where we were kind of finding the physicality of each character so there'd be cohesiveness.
“We just had a lot of fun kind of playing make-believe together."
