Zac Efron drops a new teaser from the Baywatch movie
Dig those red trunks out, Zac Efron has dropped the first teaser from the ‘Baywatch’ movie.
With the trailer due out sometime later today, this is the first snippet of the reboot of the classic 80s series – originally helmed by one David Hasselhoff, who has himself a cameo in this new version.

It’s clearly setting the tone – Efron’s new lifeguard Matt Brody having a somewhat awkward run-in with Alexandra Daddario’s character Summer Quinn.
He also does a pretty neat motorbike-to-sea-dive move, so comes out look both heroic and boobs-fixated.
To the strains of Biggie Small’s classic Hypnotize, the initial tone, as much as one can gather from barely 30 seconds, appears to be on the slightly goofy ’21 Jump Street’ tip, which is clearly the right way to go.
Efron stars opposite Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who picks up Hasselhoff’s role as life guard captain Mitch Buchannon, while there’s also roles for Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrbach, Jon Bass and Hannibal Buress.
Old school cast-member Pamela Anderson also makes an appearance, though Rohrbach has nabbed her original role as C.J. Parker.
The movie is due out in May, 2017.
