Barbie stars among newest Oscars 2024 presenters
The Academy has just announced its newest batch of presenters for this year's Oscars.
The big night is now only a few days away, and producers have confirmed Barbie cast members Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera will hand out awards on the same night as they're nominated in the Best Supporting categories. Barbie star Issa Rae will also be presenting an award.
Wicked co-stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo will be giving away Oscars too, as will former winners Charlize Theron, Forest Whitaker, Sally Field, Sir Ben Kingsley, Tim Robbins, Steven Spielberg and Christoph Waltz.
Rounding off the latest group of Oscars presenters will be former nominees Emily Blunt, Melissa McCarthy and Mary Steenburgen, plus Dune Part Two star Anya Taylor-Joy.
Previously, Dune: Part Two star Zendaya and the recipient of last year's Best Actress award, Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once), were named among the first group of presenters for this year’s 96th Oscars ceremony, which will take place on March 10
A host of other names have also been announced: Mahershala Ali, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, and Sam Rockwell.

The Oscars, which will again be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air on ITV in the UK after Sky gave up its rights following a 20 year partnership.
More presenters will be confirmed in due course, although we won't know who is presenting which category until the night.
Traditionally, however, the four acting winners from the previous year return to present those categories. Yeoh will likely present Best Actor, with Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy the frontrunner.

Meanwhile, Fraser, who won Best Actor last year for The Whale, will likely present Best Actress. That award is a two-way battle between Killers of the Flower Moon star Lily Gladstone and Poor Things actress Emma Stone.
Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan both won in the supporting acting categories last year for their roles in Everything Everywhere All at Once – they'll likely present Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress, respectively.
Robert Downey Jr. (Oppenheimer) and Da'Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers) are the frontrunners for those awards.
Best supporting actor nominee Sterling K. Brown agrees, telling The Graham Norton Show: "I’mma tell you: Robert Downey Jr.’s gonna win, and he’s incredibly deserving. He’s an incredible actor. Like, you should give him love."
The 96th Academy Awards take place on Sunday, March 10 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. It will be broadcast on ITV in the UK.
