Andrew Garfield plays basketball with kids while dressed as Spider-Man
And is that Emma Stone watching on?
Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man just got friendlier.
‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ star Andrew Garfield took time out from shooting the web-slinging sequel in New York to shoot some hoops with local kids.
Kitted out in full Spidey suit, the 29-year actor joined two children for a game of basketball in the city’s Chinatown area, close to where director Marc Webb’s Marvel movie has been filming for the past few months.
He even let them win.

A crowd of amazed on-lookers gathered to watch the brief game (including YouTube user nhkteainc who posted this video - available here thanks to our German site), as Garfield then calmly left the court and strolled his way back down a busy city street.
Eagle eyes might also spot a familiar looking blonde lady and a golden retriever dog in the crowd – we’re guessing its Garfield’s co-star and girlfriend Emma Stone, and their dog Ren.
Spidey’s New York shoot has churned out some awesome on-set snaps recently – including Paul Giamatti as raging villain The Rhino, shaved head and all, and Jamie Foxx rocking both geek-chic and scaly blue skin as Maxwell Dillon a.k.a Electro.
‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’, co-starring Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti, is out in the UK 18 April 2014.
