Brazilian man arrested for using Jack Nicholson ID
A man in Brazil has been arrested after he tried to open a bank account with a fake ID that featured a photo of Jack Nicholson.
41-year-old Ricardo Sergio Freire de Barros was charged in Recife after three months of being tracked by police. Local authorities told CNN that he was arrested with various different credit cards and chequebooks, and six different IDs.
By far the most absurd was the one that finally snagged the fraudster. The fake ID featured the instantly recognisable face of 74-year-old Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson, but bears the name "Joao Pedro dos Santos" along with a fingerprint.

Apparently Barros looks nothing like the actor, and we're not convinced Nicholson looks much like Joao Pedro dos Santos either. Still, it's reassuring to know Jack's face can stop crime as far away as Brazil.
Barros is currently in custody as he awaits trial on charges of using false documents and falsification of a public document.
