When he's not mercilessly battering kidnappers in 'Taken' and 'Taken 2', Liam Neeson is being a good egg.

In distinctly Noel Edmonds style, he whipped off his kit — down to a pair of skimpy briefs — to get into a charity 'gunk tank' on Ellen DeGeneres's chat show.

He then waited patiently while an audience member threw balls at a target to pitch a vat of water over him.

Whipping off his pink robe, he cheekily upped the initial figure of $10,000 to $20,000 for his participation, all going towards raising money for breast cancer charities.

Let's hope he didn't take violent revenge on anyone for the soaking once the cameras stopped rolling...
