Perhaps fittingly, the ‘Die Hard’ franchise refuses to die.
With the mediocre fifth film ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’ making more than $300 million, it seems the studio is mulling ‘Part 6’ and it already has a title: ‘Die Hardest’.
Will Bruce Willis like this title more than the last one? He slated 'A Good Day to Die Hard' in an excruciating interview on the 'One Show' earlier this year.

According to Total Film, the script is being written by Ben Trebilcook, who is currently working on martial arts flick ‘Knockout’. It’s only his second writing credit.
It was on this film that he met Larry D. Webster, consulting producer on ‘A Good Day To Die Hard’ and subsequently landed the ‘Die Hard 6’ treatment-writing gig.
There’s not loads of info but apparently the story begins in New York but will mostly be set in Tokyo. “It is extremely faithful to the franchise and characters and is a natural progression. It's also a very plausible storyline,” Trebilcook told the mag.
Don’t get too excited though (were you anyway?) as the film is still in very early stages of production. "Getting Larry's support was great,” said Trebilcook, “but there are many hurdles to leap yet and two of those are called Bruce Willis and [producer] Alex Young. [There's] the possibility producers might go back and find some other source material to base the next one on, like they did with the first and second. Mine though, I feel it could be the Rocky Balboa of the Die Hard franchise."
We’ll have more info on ‘Die Hard’ when we get it.
