Dustin Hoffman recovering from cancer treatment
Actor has been 'surgically-cured' according to his reps.
Dustin Hoffman is recovering after being treated for cancer.
According to his publicist Jodi Gottlieb, the 75-year-old actor responded well to the treatment.
“It was detected early and he has been surgically cured,” she told People magazine. “Dustin is feeling great and is in good health.”

No further details on which type of cancer Hoffman was suffering from were disclosed.
But he will be undergoing 'preventative treatments' to lessen the chance of the cancer returning, according to reports.

Hoffman recently wrapped filming on the forthcoming Jon Favreau-directed comedy 'Chef', also starring Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson and Favreau himself in the lead role.
Hoffman's next film, Boys Choir, starts production later this year.
