Edgar Wright teases Ant-Man appearance in 'summer movie'?
Scott Pilgrim director gets comic book fans all a-froth on Twitter, then backtracks
Edgar Wright caused not-insubstantial anxiety among the comic-book fraternity yesterday, after he teased his involvement in one of the big summer releases.
The director of 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' and forthcoming Simon Pegg comedy 'The World's End' is currently in the Marvel Studios inner circle, and is in pre-production for comic adaptation 'Ant-Man'.

“Aside from 'The World's End', I directed one shot in another summer movie. But which?#IProbablyWillNotTell,” he perhaps unwisely teased his following on Twitter.
Fans quickly melted down, many drawing the conclusion that Ant-Man could be appearing in 'Iron Man 3', despite Ant-Man remaining largely unmentioned in the first message.
“@edgarwright don't you dare hint at any kind of Ant-Man stuff if it's not happening this is not a motherf**king game,” replied one fan, taking things perhaps a little seriously.
Wright then replied: “Because I am worried you may do something rash, I can exclusively reveal it is NOT in 'Iron Man 3',” but then added: “Yeah. Some of you got it right.”
Involvement of 'Ant-Man' himself is also unlikely, considering that he is not thought to have been cast yet.
Many of the other guesses were for 'Thor: The Dark World', though he now remains tight-lipped on the subject.
It's also possible that Wright may have been involved in a small capacity in 'Star Trek Into Darkness', which features his old pal Simon Pegg.
Whatever, 'Ant-Man' will be part of Marvel's 'phase two' plans, along with 'Avengers 2', 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.
It's slated for release on November 6, 2015.
