Fire on Transformers 4 set

Controlled stunt explosion went wrong, according to a member of the crew

A fire halted production on the set of 'Transformers 4', according to reports.

The blaze started while Michael Bay's robot sequel was filming on location in in Pflugerville, Texas, and is believed to have caused damage to a century-old home nearby.

A crew-member told WENN that a controlled explosion caused the fire, but the emergency services quickly attended to the scene to put it out.

The local news station KVUE added that no one was burned in the fire, but one person did break an ankle.

It's not known whether the incident will have any lasting delays on production, or the film's release, which is due for June 2014.

The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci and Li Bingbing.
