First look: Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Disney announce start of shoot with new on-set Cap image.

The first image for comic-book sequel ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ has arrived online, announcing that Disney have begun shooting the next movie in Marvel’s Phase Two canon.

The image shows Chris Evans, suited and booted as the iconic Cap, standing with his back to us in-front of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s lit-up logo.

Following the events of ‘Avengers Assemble’, the broodingly named ‘Winter Soldier’ finds Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, struggling to adjust to life in the modern world, when he’s called upon to tackle a ‘covert enemy’ In Washington. D.C.

Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow (as seen in ‘Avengers Assemble’) will co-star alongside Evans.
