John Travolta snubbed by KFC
Hollywood A-lister denied a table at fast food outlet in Sussex
When you’ve been a Hollywood star for the majority of your life, there’s certain things you take for granted. Like being able to get a table at any restaurant you fancy.
Sadly, for John Travolta, some restaurants ensure that their clientele all feel equal to one another - branches of KFC in West Sussex, for instance.

Travolta was reportedly denied a request to book a table at a branch near East Grinstead last weekend, where he was attending a Scientology event at Saint Hill Manor, a former home of founder L. Ron Hubbard.

A woman called the fast-food joint on his behalf requesting to book a table for him and his guests on Friday night, but the worker - who’s decided to remain anonymous - told the Daily Mail that they turned the request down.
“To me, customers are customers, no matter who they are. It doesn't make a difference if someone is famous. The lady who called didn't give me her name, she just said it will be for a Mr Travolta. That threw me a little bit.

“I thought it might be a load of nonsense, but she seemed pretty serious.”
Later, the employee was informed it was indeed a serious request, and the actor was currently in the area. Learning from their mistake, KFC has ensured that in the future Travolta will be welcome to reserve a table at the branch of his choice.
A spokesperson said: “In hindsight, of course, we would have reserved a table for him.
“It's not every day you get a Hollywood star eating in your restaurant.”
