Kick-Ass 2: redband Hit-Girl trailer

'Try to have fun. Otherwise, what's the point?'

Just in case the first trailer for 'Kick-Ass 2' wasn't quite filthy enough for you, a new 'red band' – i.e. explicit – trailer has now been unveiled.

It focuses more on the world of Chloe Grace Moretz's character Hit-Girl, who was left orphaned after the first film, and how she's struggling to adjust with a normal life.

And, of course, with her rather distinct line in banter, its rip-roaringly offensive.

Kick-Ass 2 - International Trailer #1 (Hit Girl) [VO|HD]by addictomovie.com

A newly buff Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass himself) is pulling her one way, while commitments at school and – incongruously – cheerleading, are pulling her the other.

We reckon we know which side will win out.

Jim Carrey appears once again as former mob enforcer-turned-masked vigilante Colonel Stars and Stripes, one of his most anticipated roles in a long time, judging by how almost unrecognisable he is.

Also on the bill are Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Olga Kurkulina.

It's out in the UK on July 19.
