Morgan Freeman to star in Lego film
Actor joins '40-Year-Old Virgin' star Elizabeth Banks in the voice cast for 3D flick
Morgan Freeman has reportedly joined the cast of the forthcoming Lego movie.
The actor is to lend his dulcet tones to a character called Vitruvius in the 3D film, called 'Lego: The Piece of Resistance', alongside '40-Year-Old Virgin' star Elizabeth Banks, who has also joined the production.

Among the other stars on board are 'Arrested Development's Will Arnett, Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt, with Arnett playing a Lego version of Batman and Tatum a Lego version of Superman.
The plot is said to revolve around an ordinary Lego figure who is mistaken for 'the extraordinary MasterBuilder'.
He's then set the task of foiling an evil Lego tyrant who plans to glue the universe together.
It's to be directed by '21 Jump Street' helmsmen Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and due out in February, 2014.
