Marvel star had to console a young fan because he wasn’t the ‘real’ Iron Man.

It seems some of us are still immune to Robert Downey Jr.’s charm…

The Marvel superstar had to calm down an upset toddler, after the young fan found out the actor wasn’t actually the ‘real’ Iron Man. An ‘Aww’ demanding picture of the heart-breaking encounter has now gone viral, showing the worried looking star consoling the tiny super-fan in the street.

Little bit awkward.

[Who is the highest paid Avenger?]

RDJ was out for a stroll in the Massachusetts towns of Sunderland and Shelburne Falls, where’s he’s shooting new movie ‘The Judge’, when he met eighteen-month-year-old Jaxon Denno and his mum.

The toddler was super excited to meet his hero, until he realised the Tony Stark star wasn’t wearing his Iron Man suit, sending him straight to teary town - as the photo which soon appeared on Reddit shows.

Rob soon reverted to his on-screen ways though, calming Jaxon down with superhero tact.

"He was fine as soon as he talked to him," Jaxson's mum Heather told People. "[He] was so confused because I kept telling him it was Iron Man and he knew it wasn't. Well, not Iron Man in the suit."

‘Iron Man 3’ recently became the fifth highest grossing movie of all time, will reports that Robert is now set to sign a massive $100 million deal to return to the character for ‘The Avengers’ sequel.
