Actor set to return to Oz to film new scenes.

Tom Hardy will play Max Rockatansky in Mad Max: Fury Road

So far, little has been revealed about George Miller's upcoming Mad Max sequel, Fury Road.

But Tom Hardy has revealed that, unlike the low budget original, it's going to be a huge movie.

He told Flicks and the City: "It's great. It's a big old piece, it's a behemoth of a piece."

The actor went on to confirm that he's set to return to Oz for extra filming on the project, following reports in September that Millar had recalled the ensemble cast for 'additional photography'.

"I'm off there next week to do some reshoots, well not reshoots actually, but doing more," he continued. "We're building, building more Mad Maxes, even more spectacular and cool stuff."
