Two new images from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Two new images for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ have been released, both giving Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen a chance to show her serious side.

Her brooding expression says: “Yes, I’ve won an Oscar, now watch me act”.

The first pic shows Katniss looking enigmatically off into the distance, whilst the second has her hugging her teary-eyed little sister Prim.

‘The Hunger Games: Catching fire’ sees joint winners of the 74th Games, Katniss and Peeta (now a staged couple), paraded around the Districts of Panem as a media sensation. However, sensing a rebellion coming, President Snow throws the pair back into the arena for the Quarter Quell - a forced showdown against all the other former victors.

‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, directed by Francis Lawrence, and co-starring Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson and Donald Sutherland, is out in the UK on 22 November 2013.
