Yahoo Movies Abigail's Dan Stevens pays tribute to late co-star Angus Cloud
Dan Stevens has paid tribute to his late co-star Angus Cloud as his final film Abigail is released posthumously.
Speaking in an interview with the Radio Times as the vampire horror film is released in cinemas today (April 19), Stevens reflected on working with the Euphoria star in one of his final film roles, saying it was "a real treat" to work with Cloud.
"He was a very, very sweet, lovely boy. And I've never met anyone like him," Stevens said.
"He really was like all of our little brother on set, and we were all completely heartbroken when we lost him, in the middle of production, essentially, in the middle of the strike."

The actor went on to reveal that Abigail featured a dedication to Cloud prior to the film credits, a tribute he believed was "only right".
"He's terrific in it," he added. "And it's very... it's an oddly special film for that reason."
Abigail had been one of three projects Cloud had completed work on when he passed away last year, aged 25, with the other films being Dan Brown's Your Lucky Day and Freaky Tales, from Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden.
Meanwhile, Abigail is a reimagining of Dracula's Daughter, which sees a group of kidnappers hold a ballet dancer named Abigail hostage for ransom in an abandoned mansion.
However, their kidnapping scheme doesn't go to plan, with the group ultimately discovering that she is actually a vampire.

Alongside Stevens and Cloud, the film also stars Alisha Weir as the titular vampire alongside Melissa Barrera, Kathryn Newton and Kevin Durand.
The film has received a strong first response from critics, currently sitting on an impressive 81% on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing, after 91 reviews.
Abigail is out in cinemas Friday, April 19.
