Zack Snyder has revealed a new clip from ‘Justice League’.

And it features everyone’s favourite Atlantean having a bit of a splash about.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s some guy having a quick swim. That’s basically what we’re seeing here, as ‘Justice League’ director Zack Snyder gives us our first look at Jason Momoa in action as Aquaman.

Not exactly as thrilling as we hoped.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very small clip from what’s likely going to be an action-packed almost-debut for the character in the upcoming ‘Justice League’ movie. Yes, we may have seen him very briefly in ‘Batman V Superman’, but we finally get to see him throwing his weight around in the ‘Justice League’ movie.

And judging from that early teaser, he’s going to be quite a character.

What does this clip tell us about Aquaman?

Well… not a lot, really. It’s a very brief, four-second clip. And it basically shows us Aquaman floating about a bit, being a merman. Not exactly thrilling stuff. Oh, and there’s some coral and seashells in there, too. Nice.

After appearing in ‘Justice League’, we’ll see Aquaman suiting up for his own solo film in 2018. And screenwriter Will Beal recently gave us some idea of what we can expect from the iconic DC hero’s first solo outing.

“It’s going to be fun, it’s going to be really fun,” he said. “What we’ve come up with and James [Wan, director] especially — he has a really clear idea of the tone he’s going to have, and I think Aquaman is one that’s going to blow people’s minds, not just visually, but I think the story and the scope of it is really great.”

‘Justice League’ stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher.

Zack Snyder directed the movie, based on a script he co-wrote with Chris Terrio.

‘Justice League’ heads to cinemas on 17 November 2017.
