Having re-launched his acting career after a stint as a governor, Arnie told Metro that he is “definitely up” for making ‘Terminator 5’, even at the ripe old age of 65.

Schwarzenegger confirmed that a script is in the works, announcing that: “They’re [movie producers] working on a script. It could happen, probably in the next year.

“I am absolutely up for it.”

Arnie missed out on the last Terminator film ‘Terminator Salvation’ because he was tied up with governing the state of California. The last movie starred Christian Bale as a grown-up John Connor (the leader of the human resistance).

The action star has had a decent warm up for a return to the Terminator movies having taken roles in Sly Stallone’s ‘Expendables 2’ and upcoming blockbuster ‘The Last Stand’ where he plays a sheriff under attack from a drug baron.
