Man stained green after Hulk costume goes wrong

When Enrique dos Santos decided to paint himself green to emulate his hero The Incredible Hulk, he probably wasn't expecting to be embarrassed around the world.

Inspired by Marvel's smash superhero flick 'Avengers Assemble', the 35-year-old swimming pool attendant coated himself in a green paint typically used for ballistic missiles and nuclear submarines.

The comic book fan could not get the stuff off however, something most university students can sympathise with.

To make matters worse the Brazilian press published that the woman helping him clean up was his girlfriend, when it was actually his mother.

As Kermit the Frog once said: "It's not easy being green."

Eventually, after 24 hours of scrubbing courtesy of his friends and neighbours, the paint came off.
