Terms and Conditions

1. This prize draw is run by Yahoo! UK Limited, 125 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8AD ("Yahoo!").

2. By entering the prize draw, you agree to these terms and conditions. Yahoo! will send confirmation of your entry into this prize draw and these terms and conditions to the email address provided by you upon entry. Your participation in the prize draw is in consideration for Yahoo! allowing you to enter it and giving you the opportunity to win.

3. No purchase is necessary in order to enter the prize draw. There is no fee charged to enter into this prize draw other than the cost of you accessing the Internet which you would otherwise have. You will be responsible for all costs and expenses relating to the prize draw, such as the cost of you accessing the Internet and any other costs and expenses associated with your participation in the prize draw and/or your claiming or enjoyment of the prize if you win, including the cost of your compliance with all laws applicable to your participation in the prize draw and/or claiming or enjoyment of the prize.

4. You must be over 18 and resident of the UK to enter into this prize draw and to claim or participate in the prize if you win. Directors, officers and employees (or any of their relatives) of Yahoo! or any of its group companies or its agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter into this prize draw and to claim or participate in the prize. Entrants will be deemed be the natural person to whom the email address (provided on entry) is registered. Only one entry per person is permitted.

5. To be eligible, you must submit your application as detailed on the prize draw entry submission page: http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/competition-win-a-3d-home-cinema-system-with-the-hobbit-the-desolation-of-smaug-110724938.html. Entries must be received not later than 10:00am hours GMT+1 on 30 April 2014. Yahoo! is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures or delays of any kind or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed, lost, late or damaged.

6. Yahoo! will select 1 winner by random from amongst the complete entries on 30 April 2014. Yahoo!'s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If you win a prize, you agree to provide Yahoo! with all information reasonably requested by Yahoo! in order for Yahoo! to substantiate your identity, age and place of residence. The winners will be notified via email on or before the 5 May 2014.

Terms & Conditions:
1. Competition closes at 10:00 GMT+1, Friday 30h April 2014.
2. Open to UK residents only, aged 18 or over.
3. The Promoter of this competition is Yahoo! UK Ltd.
4. Prize for one (1) winner is: Toshiba 42" Premium Smart 3D LED TV with 4 pairs of 3D glasses; Toshiba Smart 3D Blu-ray player with inbuilt WiFi; Toshiba 300W Soundbar with Wireless Sub-Woofer; The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition Blu-ray 3D; The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Blu-ray 3D.
5. Entry can only be made via Twitter. Valid entries must include the hashtag #YahooHobbitTreasureHunt and be made from an unlocked public profile that Follows @YahooMoviesUK.
6. Prize winners may be required to take part in reasonable post-competition publicity for Warner and may be filmed, photographed or otherwise recorded by Warner or other third parties for publicity and he/she consents to the use of his/her personal data for such purposes.
7. Prize winners may be required to sign a Prize Acceptance Form before the Prize is awarded.
8. There is no cash alternative to Prizes which are subject to availability, non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-refundable. Prizes may not be sold, offered for sale or used in connection with any other competition or promotion by the Prize Winner.
9. Prize details are correct at the date of this Agreement. Events may occur that render the Media Promotion itself or the awarding of Prizes impossible due to unforeseen circumstances or reasons beyond the control of Warner. In this situation, Warner may at its discretion vary or amend Prizes so as to provide reasonable alternative Prizes and Prize winners agree that no liability shall attach to Warner or parties connected to Warner as a result.
10. The winner will be picked at random from all correct, valid entries and contacted via Twitter by the @YahooMoviesUK account.
11. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified of their win, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner. If a winner rejects their prize, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner.
12. The Editor's decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

8. Confirmation of whether or not you have won the prize will also be available on request from Yahoo! after 5 May 2014 by writing to Yahoo! at the address given above. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted within one week of the relevant prize draw, his/her prize will revert to Yahoo!

9. The prize tickets will be sent by registered post or courier to the address provided by the winner. There will be no cash alternative. Yahoo! does not accept any responsibility for any failure by the postal service or any courier service to deliver the prizes or the winner's failure to accept delivery of his/her prize.

10. Yahoo! AND Warner Bros. UK Entertainment may use information relating to the prize draw for marketing or promotional purposes, including use of the winner's name and likeness. Personal information of entrants will always be used in accordance with Yahoo!'s Privacy Policy, currently located at http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/uk.

11. Except as otherwise required by applicable law, Yahoo! is not responsible for any loss or damage associated with you entering into these terms and conditions, this prize draw, the carrying out of the draw or the provision or otherwise of any aspect of any prize or any act or omission of any other person or party, and all warranties, conditions and representations (of any kind) not expressly set out in these terms and conditions are hereby excluded (except in the case of fraud).

12. Yahoo!'s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Yahoo! may terminate these terms and conditions and the prize draw if you do not comply with any of these terms and conditions or are unlikely to do so, if Yahoo! decides in its absolute discretion to withdraw the prize draw before any winner is notified, or thereafter if any circumstances beyond Yahoo!’s reasonable control prevent or restrict Yahoo!, Warner Bros. UK Entertainment or any other person or party from providing the prize or any aspect of the prize, or if it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond either's reasonable control.

13. You agree that (unless applicable law requires otherwise) any right that you have under applicable law to cancel ends when the prize draw is announced. If thereafter you cannot participate in any prize for reasons beyond your reasonable control, you must notify Yahoo! and Yahoo! may in its absolute discretion give that prize to someone else. You may not otherwise give any tickets or prize or assign or transfer any other rights or obligations in connection with these terms and conditions.

14. All intellectual property and other rights in connection with the prize or these terms and conditions vest with Yahoo! or its licensors. These terms and conditions and all matters arising from or in connection with them are governed by English law and the courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute.
