Spandau Ballet's Martin and Gary Kemp are to team up for a new mockumentary.

The brothers have joined forces for 'The Kemps: All Gold', the highly-anticipated follow up to their 2020 hit mockumentary 'The Kemps: All True'.

Martin said: "If you thought ‘The Kemps: All True’ made you laugh ... that was nothing, wait till you see this one.

"It’s brilliant, bonkers, and so funny. It’s definitely a don’t miss over Christmas."

Gary added: "It's fantastic to reunite with Rhys and be joined by our incredible cast for 'The Kemps: All Gold'.

"We're taking our adventures to a whole new level of dysfunction this time, and we can't wait to share the laughter and mayhem with our fans."

Martin's wife Shirlie Kemp will also be part of the cast, as will Christopher Eccleston, Danny John Jules, Adil Ray, Lenny Rush, David Arnold, Dexter Fletcher, Ed Kear, Ellie May Sheridan, Lucy Montgomery, Matt Allwright, Paul Reynolds, Tamzin Outhwaite, and Status Quo's Francis Rossi.

The Kemp brothers have also joined forces with documentary filmmaker Rhys Thomas for the mockumentary, and Michael Kitchen will return as the pair's long-suffering manager, while Perry Benson will be back as their brother Ross Kemp, but not the former 'EastEnders' actor.

It will see Rhys follow the pair over a whole year as they make a biopic, get divorced and form a super group - but not everything will go to plan.

Jon Petrie, Director of Comedy at the BBC, added: "A huge thanks to Gary and Martin Kemp for managing to keep a straight face throughout the filming of this show.

"They’ve delivered us a hilarious little Christmas treat, with help from Rhys Thomas’ unique comedy brain."
