Carson Daly surprises 'Today' co-hosts on-air with pregnancy news: 'How long have you been sitting on this?!'
Hey, that wasn't on the teleprompter!
Carson Daly took his "Today" co-hosts by surprise on Friday morning as he shared live on-air that his wife. Siri, is pregnant with their fourth child.
"Siri Daly, my incredible wife, she is gearing up for a big spring because that’s when she’s going to give birth to fourth and newest member of the Daly family," he said, speaking directly into the camera as his colleagues gasped.
"What?!" Hoda Kotb exclaimed. "Are you kidding?"
"How long have you been sitting on this?" Craig Melvin added.

Dylan Dreyer, who is pregnant herself, hopped up from her seat to give Daly a hug.
The news is just another highlight in a big year for Daly, who last month successfully wrapped up his long-running late-night show "Last Call with Carson Daly." The program ran for an incredible 19 seasons, filming 2,000 episodes since 2002.
In addition to his spot on "Today," Daly hosts "The Voice," which returns for its 17th season next week.
