Colin Farrell is unrecognisable as The Penguin on the Liverpool set of 'The Batman'
DC fans caught a brief glimpse of Colin Farrell as Oswald 'Oz' Cobblepot in the teaser trailer for The Batman.
But now we can study his remarkable transformation in more detail, with new pictures from the Liverpool set of the forthcoming superhero reboot.

It could be anyone other than the 44-year-old Irish star under those layers of prosthetics, and also sporting thinning hair and a long leather trench coat.
And he looks every bit as creepy as he did in the teaser.
As with the shots from the film's set seen yesterday, it appears Cobblepot is attending the same funeral as John Turturro's Carmine Falcone, Zoe Kravitz's Selena Kyle (aka Catwoman) and Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne.

A picture of the deceased appears to be British actor Rupert Penry-Jones, who, according to fan speculation, could be playing Gotham City Mayor Don Mitchell Jr, though that currently remains unconfirmed.
But sadly, the Hollywood stars of the movie won’t be able to experience all that Liverpool has to offer.
Filming at the city’s St George's Hall, which is standing in for Gotham City Hall, comes just as Liverpool was put under the government's new top tier of coronavirus restrictions, following increasing numbers of COVID-19 infections.
This means the citywide closure of bars, restaurants, gyms, casinos and sports facilities.
It also comes after the movie was further delayed on the positive testing of Pattinson for the virus earlier this month.
Director Matt Reeves' movie had only just resumed filming after it was put in pause in March this year, following shoots in Glasgow and at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire.
