Doctor Strange exclusive deleted scene: Mads Mikkelsen's Kaecilius brutally dispatches priest

Marvel Studios’ ‘Doctor Strange’ arrives on digital download on 24 February, followed by DVD, Blu-ray, and 3D Blu-ray on 6 March, and we’re thrilled to be able to share a never-before-seen deleted scene featuring Mads Mikkelsen’s villain, the rebel zealot Kaecilius.

The scene (watch it in full above) shows Kaecilius and his followers as they enter a church to perform magic. Kaecilius quotes a passage from Corinthians: “We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Kaecilius cooly dispatches the priest after a brief theological exchange giving us a chilling reminder of the rogue sorcerer’s true nature.

“After life, is a contradiction,” Kaecilius warns the priest, “There is no afterlife and I can prove it to you.”
