Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery's new movie confirms UK release date
Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery’s new movie Boy Kills World has confirmed a UK release date.
The film, which stars It actor Bill Skarsgård, released a first trailer last month, but now it has been announced that the action comedy will hit UK and Irish cinemas on April 26 – the same day as in the US.
Skarsgård plays the titular ‘Boy’, who is deaf and mute and has a "vivid imagination", with a strong inner voice which is taken from his favourite video game.

"Bedlam ensues as Boy commits bloody martial arts mayhem, inciting a wrath of carnage and bloodletting.

Dockery, who is known for playing Lady Mary Crawley in Downton Abbey, is part of the main cast, and while her exact role isn’t yet known, in the quirky trailer she appears to be one of the villains.

Meanwhile, H. Jon Benjamin, known for voicing the titular role in animated sitcom Bob’s Burgers, will play the inner voice of Boy – with his voiceover in the trailer giving a taste of what to expect from his role.
Boy Kills World is produced by Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness director Sam Raimi, with a script by Arend Remmers and Tyler Burton Smith – while Moritz Mohr makes his feature directorial debut.
Boy Kills World will be released in UK and US cinemas on April 26.
