Drew Barrymore Shares Epic Rashida Jones Throwback Photo

Drew Barrymore moved in some pretty rarified circles when she was a kid.

And while recently emptying out on of her storage units, she came across a few photographic gems from her childhood and shared them on her Instagram page.

Like this total gem, from the set of ‘E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’.

It features Barrymore not only with E.T. himself, but also with the legendary record producer Quincy Jones, and his daughters Kidada and Rashida.

Kidada is a famous fashion designer today, while Rashida has starred in movies like ‘The Social Network’, ‘The Muppets’ and is probably best-known for her role as Ann Perkins in ‘Parks and Recreation’.

“No way! Look what I just found!” captioned Barrymore, tagging in Quincy, Rashida and Kidada. “I am finding all sorts of treasure today! #oldstorageunitday.”

Indeed, it was not all that she unearthed.

There was also this vintage shot from the set of 1984 movie ‘Firestarter’, in which the young Drew starred alongside David Keith, Freddie Jones, Martin Sheen and George C. Scott.

And then this, at a red carpet type bash with Sharon Stone.

Posting this shot of her modelling a very spiffy angora sweater, she added: “What a fun day. I saw wonderful little Windows into my life. I am glad I am as happy as I was when I was a kid and vice versa. I love life. I am Grateful always. #oldstorageunitday.”

Barrymore, born into the Barrymore acting dynasty (her grandparents were John Barrymore and Dolores Costello, while she’s the grandniece of Lionel and Ethel Barrymore and goddaughter of Steven Spielberg and Sophia Loren), she first appeared on screen aged 11 months in a dog food ad.

Her screen debut was in Ken Russell’s ‘Altered States’, with William Hurt, before she won role role playing Gertie, Elliot’s sister in ‘E.T.’.
