Elizabeth Olsen thinks she’ll pop up in 'Spider-Man 3'
Elizabeth Olsen has given her biggest indication yet that she’ll appear in Spider-Man 3.
Olsen’s Marvel character Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch can currently be seen in Wandavision on Disney+, while it has already been confirmed that she’ll appear in 2022’s Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, too.

With so many more Marvel films on the horizon, it’s widely expected that Olsen will continue to be a key figure in the MCU. After the departure of Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man and Chris Evans’ Captain America, there’s arguably no bigger superhero in the franchise than Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, though.

So it makes sense then that Wanda will feature in Spider-Man 3 when it is, hopefully, released on December 21st, 2021. That’s exactly what Olsen was asked during her recent appearance on Capital FM. Olsen didn’t have a concrete answer, but did tease, “I assume you might [see Scarlet Witch] if everyone's in it, but I haven't shown up to that party quite yet, I don't think.”

Filming on Spider-Man 3 has actually been taking place since the middle of October. At the moment, we know that, as well as Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Battalion, Marisa Tomei, and Doctor Strange himself Benedict Cumberbatch will star in the blockbuster.
What’s most exciting is the other additions to the cast, though. Jamie Foxx’s villain Electro is set to feature in Spider-Man 3, after making his previous appearance in Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, opposite Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. He’ll be joined by Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, the evil scientist who went up against Tobey Maguire’s incarnation of Spider-Man in 2004’s Spider-Man 2.
There have even been widespread rumours that Maguire and Garfield will star opposite Holland’s version of the character, too. But those haven’t been confirmed yet.
