Sometimes saying goodbye is the hardest part, but alas Netflix subscribers will have to do so once again in July as the streaming platform is removing a number of shows, films and even originals this month.

79 titles will be leaving Netflix on 1 July alone, including four of the Underworld movies, the 1996 version of Matilda, Florence Pugh's Midsommar, and the 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen.

Anime fans will likely also lament the lost of the iconic Akira, while My Hero Academia will be removed from the platform alongside the film My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising and the One Piece: Stampede movie.

Several Korean dramas will also be removed from the streamer in July like Descendants of the Sun, Queen for Seven Days, and Radio Romance.

Later in the month, Netflix will also remove films such as Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Queer as Folk. Chicken Run will also be taken off the streamer despite Aardman making the follow-up film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget for Netflix.

Donnie Brasco, Erin Brockovich, and Dream Girls are also amongst the classic movies that will be removed from the platform in July, as will The Father which earned Anthony Hopkins an Academy Award.

Netflix originals aren't safe from the cull either, because Bangkok Love Stories: Objects of Affection and Bangkok Love Stories: Plead will also be removed from the platform this month. Where they will go is unclear, but given the amount of shows that have started to simply disappear from streaming platforms lately it is likely that they will disappear for good.

In total there are 116 titles being removed by Netflix in July so now is the time to watch them, even if it is tempting to instead dive into the new programmes and films coming to the streamer in July such as The Witcher season 3 part 2 and Bird Box: Barcelona.
