Featuring a sturdy cast of British names, Redmayne and Jones star alongside David Thewlis, as the professor under whom Hawking studied, Emily Watson, Simon McBurney, Charlie Cox and Maxine Peake, who plays Elaine Mason, Hawking’s nurse who would later become his second wife.
Behind the camera is James Marsh, who until now has been better known for his celebrated documentaries, including ‘Project Nim’ and ‘Man on Wire’.
