Yahoo Movies First trailer for Ant-Man star Michael Peña's new real-life movie
Ant-Man actor Michael Peña looks ready to reach for the stars in the new movie A Million Miles Away.
A Million Miles Away is based on true events and sees Peña star as engineer José Hernández.
The movie lands on Prime Video on September 15 and is directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella.

The screenplay is by Abella, Bettina Gilois and Hernán Jiménez.
The film synopsis reads: "Inspired by the real-life story of NASA flight engineer José Hernández, A Million Miles Away follows him and his devoted family of proud migrant farm worker on a decades-long journey, from a rural village in Michoacán, Mexico, to the fields of the San Joaquin Valley, to more than 200 miles above the Earth in the International Space Station.
"With the unwavering support of his hard-working parents, relatives, and teachers, José's unrelenting drive & determination culminates in the opportunity to achieve his seemingly impossible goal."
Other cast members include Alita: Battle Angel's and Bird Box's Rosa Salazar, Vikings' Eric Johnson, Fear the Walking Dead's Garret Dillahunt and Ozark's Veronica Falcón.

The two-minute and 30-second trailer starts with Peña's character professing his childhood dream of becoming an astronaut.
In a series of fact-paced clips and film dialogue, José Hernández strives to learn the skills and prove his worth to secure a spot on a NASA space exploration mission.
A moving monologue shows his tenacity, and after 12 failed applications, he appears to get his wish.
Mark Ciardi and Campbell McInnes produce A Million Miles Away.
Peña recently appeared in the Prime Video TV show Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan as Domingo Chavez.
A Million Miles Away will be available to stream on Prime Video on September 15.
