First trailer for Regina King's Netflix movie with Lance Reddick
Netflix has released a first trailer for Regina King's movie Shirley, which stars the late Lance Reddick.
In Shirley, King stars as Shirley Chisholm, a politician who became the first Black congresswoman in America in 1968.
In 1972, Chisholm made a trailblazing run for president of the United States, which the film will document, with Netflix describing it as her "audacious, boundary-breaking 1972 presidential campaign".
King stars opposite John Wick star Reddick in one of the last roles he filmed before his death last year. Reddick died in March 2023 of natural causes.

Reddick is set to portray political organiser Wesley McDonald "Mac" Holder in the movie. Joining King and Reddick on the cast are Terrence Howard, Lucas Hedges, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Christina Jackson.
Serving as writer on the movie is 12 Years a Slave's John Ridley who also acts as a producer on the project alongside King.
The newly released trailer sees King star as political powerhouse Chisholm as she embarks on her bid to become the next US president.
"I have something I want to tell you. I am running for president," Chisholm says as the trailer opens.

"I'm paving the road for a lot of other people looking like me to get elected," she says elsewhere in the preview.
"I'm going to force all the politicians to be held accountable," she says later in the trailer as a man questions her: "How're you gonna to do all that, a schoolteacher from Brooklyn?"
Chisholm replies: "Harriet was just a slave, Rosa was just a domestic, what is it you do for a living again?"
The trailer also shows Chisholm partnering up with political group the Black Panthers as one member of the cast comments: "The Black Panthers and Shirley Chisholm, it's like thunder and lightning."
Shirley lands on Netflix on March 22.
